2018 Seeding Grant Scheme outcomes

ANZMUSC  received 23 applications for the 4 seeding grants valued up to $10,000 each.

Congratulations to the 4 winning projects detailed below:

 

  1. Associate Prof Christine Lin (School of Public Health, The University of Sydney) for the study – “Understanding barriers and facilitators to opioid deprescribing in primary care for the development of patient deprescribing resources”.

 

  1. Prof Cathie Sherrington (School of Public Health, The University of Sydney) for the study – “Safe mobility to prevent falls in acute hospitals: adaptation of the successful Safe Recovery rehabilitation unit”.

 

  1. Associate Prof Mark Hancock (Department of Health Professions, Macquarie University) for the study – “Feasibility of testing the effectiveness of a theory-informed implementation intervention to reduce imaging for low back pain: a pilot cluster randomised controlled trial”

 

  1. Dr Milena Simic (Faculty of Health Sciences, The University of Sydney) for the study – “Reducing non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug use in people with knee osteoarthritis: A repeated measures study for risk minimization”
