2020 Seeding Grant Scheme outcomes

ANZMUSC  received 26 applications for the seeding grants valued up to $10,000 each.

Congratulations to the 3 winning projects detailed below:

 

  1. Dr Marina de Barros Pinheiro (The University of Sydney, Institute for Musculoskeletal Health) for the study – “Transitioning patients with musculoskeletal disorders from hospital to community-based exercise: a pilot hybrid type 2 implementation-effectiveness wait-list randomised trial”

 

  1. Dr Gustavo Machado (The University of Sydney, Institute for Musculoskeletal Health) for the study – “Optimising outcomes for patients with back pain by preventing hospital admission”

 

  1. Dr Sam Adie (St. George and Sutherland Centre for Clinical Orthopaedic Research, UNSW) for the study – “A partial meal replacement program for weight loss prior to knee or hip arthroplasty: a feasibility study”
