Consumers

Consumers are defined as those with a lived experience of a health condition or interaction with the health system, which includes carers. They can provide insight, feedback, and values at all stages of a research project, enabling appropriate and meaningful research conduct and outcomes.

Since our inception, consumer voices have been an important component of the network. We put a strong emphasis on true consumer involvement in research, including co-design of trials, consumer-led research, and proper remuneration.

If you are seeking specific information related to consumers in research, involvement or participation, please feel free to enquire with our CAG. Please note that advice can only be guaranteed to network members due to limited time and resources.
