Meeting Registration
Claiming a free registration
If you were a recipient of ANZMUSC Trial of the Year, Best ECR Paper of the Year, or OA SIG OA Paper of the Year in 2022 or 2023 and have an unclaimed prize (one free ASM registration) please email admin@anzmusc.org for instructions.
ECR Scholarships
Several scholarships were offered to facilitate early-career researcher attendance at the 2024 ASM. Applications closed on the 7th June 2024.
These included:
- 31 scholarships from the ANZBACK CRE for back pain researchers
- 2 scholarships from the A3BC CRE for inflammatory or autoimmune MSK researchers
- 5 scholarships from ANZMUSC CRE for other MSK researchers
Scholarships awarded by ANZMUSC or ANZBACK were valued at $1000 or $1500 AUD for recipients currently residing in Australia or New Zealand respectively. A3BC scholarships were a fixed amount of $1000 AUD.
In considering scholarship applications, the selection committee assessed passion and engagement, financial circumstances, and academic excellence. Only current ANZMUSC members at the time of scholarship assessment were considered. Researchers holding an Investigator Grant were ineligible. Māori, Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander researchers were encouraged to apply several designated scholarships were on offer.

Accomodation
There are no formal accomodation arrangements for ANZMUSC ASM attendees. There are several hotels within walking distance of SAHMRI. Some options are listed below.

Transport
Click here for a PDF of the Adelaide rail and tram network. A free tram operates within the CBD. The service runs every 10-15 minutes from around 7am to midnight. A free bus service also operates in the CBD.
If travelling on trams, trains, or buses outside the free zone, use can use a contactless credit card, debit card, or mobile device to tap and pay. However, it is recommended to purchase a metroCARD or a Visitor metroCARD.

You’ll thoroughly enjoy the ANZMUSC ASM and our venue, the distinctive SAHMRI building (which has earned the nickname ‘The Cheesegrater’). In case you have free time on either side of the meeting, here are some ideas for siteseeing in Adelaide.
